I don’t understand the OF temptation

I don’t care what anyone does with their privates or how anyone makes money, assuming no one is hurt. But I don’t understand how a man can desire to pay a woman to pretend to like him. I don’t understand what the draw is. I understand some men are lonely. I just can’t understand the desire to satiate that loneliness in that way.
