Why do hospitals in America suck so bad?
Post Body

Currently on my third trip to the hospital 27 weeks pregnant and itā€™s like talking to a brick wall every time I come here. Iā€™ve been dealing with migraines the last few weeks so I went a few days after thanksgiving they gave me some medication told me to come back if it gets worseā€¦.funny enough it got way worse. Woke up at 3am in the worst pain and started having incredibly watery diarrheaā€¦.every 10-15 minutes. Not too long after that I started vomitingā€¦..every 10-15 minutes. I take a bath and tell my husband we need to go to the emergency room. I sit in the first emergency room for over 3 hours waiting for them to only tell me ā€œweā€™re gonna transfer you we canā€™t help you hereā€ ok so I get transferred to a better hospitalā€¦.where they tell me ā€œoh you probably just have a viral infection weā€™ve had a lot of those latelyā€. Iā€™m just confused why every hospital is so adamant they know whatā€™s going on without running any tests or doing anything helpful. Itā€™s like as soon as they check the babies heart rate and it looks good theyā€™re ready to rush you out the door. I just wish it at least felt like they were trying to help me
