TW: Suicidal tendencies

i know the title sounds extremely bad, but hear me out.

I got divorced over a year ago. While on tinder after my divorce, i met a married woman, who opened up the marriage with her husband, and was in search of a FWB. Appearantly her husband felt more like a housemate, and there wasn't a spark anymore, and she was looking for someone to at least satisfy her needs. Her husband knows about me from the start, and approved of everything. They also have a daughter together, to complicate the situation.

After a while we developed feelings for eachother, and since 3 months we are in an unofficial relationship, and she seriously want to divorce. She talked about it earlier, but ever since our feelings got this strong, she talked about it multiple times with her husband.

Now onto the issue, everytime she tries to discuss a divorce, her husband loses it. He gets emotional and sad (understandable) But also manipulative. Saying stuff like she doesn't care about him, chooses me above him, and he switches constantly from telling her to choose her own life, to begging her to stay. This is in ym opnion understandable due to the emotion, and even though i don't like it, i understand his life got turned upside down.

He also thinks that she should file for divorce (fair) burt also that she needs to tell his family. He is froma very religious family, and they will not look kindly upon divorce. In short, he is putting up as many barriers as he can to stop her from leaving him.

Unfortunatly he also threatens suicide. He has done so multiple times, and it has now come to a point where hsi wife is deciding to give up independance and stay with him, to make sure their daughter has a father, even though she knows and told me multiple times that she wants a future with me.

I want to do anything i can to help her escape. I said she needs to leave, but she is so scared he is going to hurt himself. I told her to tell his family, to call the cops when he threatens. But she is too scared.

Does anybody have any advice? How can i help her help herself? I offered her a place to stay, i said it is not ehr fault, and he makes his own decisions, but all she wants is to make sure her daughter has a father, and he knows he can use that against her.
