This is so fucked I went to school for 5 years, lived at home and saved money so I could be debt free when I graduated and all I can find is these fucking jobs paying $15 an hour that want me to have a ton of experience before they even talk to me.

I’ve been holding out for something that feels worth it but i’m about to just take the next thing that comes across the table because living at home with my parents after college is embarrassing and I just want to start my life.

I feel like i’ve done exactly what society asks me to do, choosing a major that you don’t hate, work and live at home the whole time, graduate with good grades.

If I had known I’d be in the same exact place 5 years later looking at these jobs that I don’t even want to work that don’t pay a living wage I wouldn’t have even gone to college but had I done that I would have gotten kicked out and cut off completely from my family.

Fuck this shit I just want to hop on a freight train and travel by myself and go wherever the fuck I want, the idea of having to work that much to still be struggling makes the future look so bleak.
