Hey everyone. I (18M) have made some really dumb decisions.

Over the last 2 years I’ve been in a really, really bad state mentally. Lonely and hating myself. So when I turned 18, I got desperate for attention and love. So I started to post in risqué subreddits and ask for….yeah. One of them I even talked about a slightly taboo fetish that I have. Anyway, I got contacted by some people and talked to them for a month. One of them ended up being a romance scammer. I genuinely thought I had a relationship with this girl, and I got to the point where I sent them two dick pics, and eventually, a 5 second video of my face panning down to me masturbating. Eventually I realized what’s going on, and cut things off. However, she has my insta because I trusted to give it to her. She tried to leak my nudes, but I don’t think that anything ever came of it. I don’t know though, I’m still terrified that this can and will ruin my life. What do you all think?

Edit: one thing I should clarify is that I want to run for office to change my country for the better, and I’m worried this will affect this
