As some you might already know, the last Brazilian president was a mess. Some people calls him "the Brazilian Trump" but he's way worst in a lot of aspects. Last year he lost in the re-election and was finally replaced but all of his strategies cause a huge brain wash in the older Brazilian people. What I mean by that is now there is a huge network of people of older age (from 50 , mostly) that feed themselves with lies and paranoia , believing in the most clearly fake news possible, like thinking the current president will lock all the accounts (like a previous right-wing president once did) because, according to them, the current president will spend way more than the previous with stuff like "salaries for homosexual people" and other things that make even less sense. I'm heartbroken to see things like this, my father used to be a smart person, but now due to paranoia, brainwash and peer-pressure from others he believes this kind of shit and he keeps consuming shit content that make it worst more and more. I have no idea how to help on that because he'll just dodge any sane argument about this, it's as he was so brainwashed that he just flees when something that challenge his beliefs show up. I know there's probably not a lot to do, he won't believe the last president was a piece of shit even if all the facts are exposed in front of his face and it's killing me inside.
