This may sound stupid but I’m starting to get really depressed because my feet have been hurting, I’m only 19
Post Body

I was an athlete as a child, I played basketball, soccer, baseball, almost everything I could. I have flat feet and about a year and a half ago my feet started to hurt pretty badly whenever I’d do any kind of activity. This winter break I’ve been trying to lose weight ( I’m not overweight by any means, I’m actually quite muscular but I don’t like now my stomach looks) and one of the ways I love to do cardio is to play basketball. I’ve been unable to do so because of how badly my feet start to hurt . I went ti a foot doctor about a week ago and he gave me insoles but they’re just making my feet hurt again. I miss being able to just go out and run, I miss just being able to play basketball without my feet being in excruciating pain. And it makes me even more depressed because I’m trying to slim down a little bit and my feet hurting makes it so much harder. Half the time I’ve been resorting to pacing in my room just to get my step count up. It makes me so sad honestly, I hate being so inactive. I hate being basically handicapped into only being able to walk outside for about a mile and a half before my feet hurt too much to continue. It’s just been really getting me down :(
