I know you drew a dick and balls somewhere
No offense, but if you can't simply pick up most tools and instantly get a baseline feel for their quality, you should just stick to the big box stuff anyway.
Like, you've got an opinion of HF tools that was valid almost 20 years ago when they had all of that Chicago Electric branded garbage for 95% cheaper than a Dewalt or equivalent tool.
They don't really sell stuff like that anymore.
The vast majority of tools on this planet come from the same 4 companies and are just rebranded. The same people who say nonsense about "i make my money with my tools I can't risk it" and buy SnapOn are literally buying the same tools that they sell at Home Depot 95% of the time, except they have a 300% markup.

Just sanding the ceiling is only part one.
The real labor is reskimming and repainting the entire ceiling. They look like shit after the popcorn is removed. You see the joints, and you see every single imperfection and stain throughout the years.
Popcorn texture is used because it's fast, and it covers a very wide range of blemishes and imperfections, and for that reason alone, it's never going anywhere.
