Heresphere starter tweaks out of the box?

Just got Heresphere up and running on my Oculus Quest 2 and just wondering if there are any immediate adjustments that can be made that will improve most video files? Or are adjustments made on a purely scene-by-scene basis?
Also, should I switch straight to 120Hz and leave it there? Or match file?
any other tips?
