I'm a 40 year old guy with pretty decent vision (last eye test I was 1 in each eye) but I'm having real trouble enjoying my new Oculus Quest 2 because I just can't get it to look right when I'm watching scenes.
The menus and text always look sharp enough, although I find the "sweet spot" is really small and I'm constantly having to adjust how it sits on my face. When I watch a scene though I find anything other than action in the dead center of the image always just looks a little strange like both of my eyes aren't focusing properly.
I've tried changing the distance between the two lenses but it doesn't seem to make a huge difference and I find I'm constantly adjusting the position of the Quest to get the image to "sit right". It really takes me out of the scene and completely spoils the immersion . Has anyone else had this or found a solution?
I'm coming from a Samsung GearVR where I never really had this issue at all. Shame because I was expecting the Quest to be much better but at this point I'm thinking of going back to the GearVR..
