I want to make a VR compilation (purely for my own consumption and not for distribution on the net, before anyone complains), but after I have done my editing and go to export, I can't seem to find the right export settings... Can anyone advise?
Ideally I think the files should be exported as MP4, and the only way I can see to do this is if I select Share> Master File and then Settings> Computer, otherwise it seems to want to export as a .mov by default. Once I have an MP4 file set to bounce, I am only given resolution choices as 4096 x 1536 or 1920 x 720... when I want something around 3200 x 1600 I believe, to keep the files in roughly the same state they were in when I imported them, but I can't seem to be able to do this.
Also, my other issue is that when I try to play the files I have tried exporting on the gearvr, they play completely blurred, like the two eyes are mixing together, and it is only watchable when I close one eye.
Has anyone else used Final Cut Pro to edit VR? Could anyone advise a way to export the file and keep roughly the same settings as the files when they were initially imported? And how to correctly export them so they are watchable? Thanks
