I am not knocking 1st person VR porn. Of course its a very sensible combination and I like such videos, but it seems to be the only thing that studios are willing to do at the moment, and it can get kind of boring.

There are actually a couple of videos that have 3rd person parts, but I haven't really seen many with close ups. Maybe the producers are afraid that being too close to another man's cock will be unsettling for most strait, male viewers. Maybe they're right? Personally, I'm okay with it. With current technology, we are really short on detail, and close up tends to look better.

There is at least one POV video I have seen where the camera was unintentionally closer to the action during a blowjob. It totally ruined any chance of feeling like you are the guy, but to me it was hotter being closer to the action and actually made the video better. I think a huge part of porn is the voyeuristic thrill of watching other people fuck. Even in VR, I don't think we have to always pretend we are one of the actors.

Someone posted a thread recently about the potential for bukkake in VR and how the camera could switch through the POV of each actor. Personally, I would rather just have a static close-up camera that's right where the action is. I wan't to see a wider variety in VR porn, but I don't think all genres are suited to 1st person. There are plenty of VR videos where the girl shows the cum to the camera up close. At no point am I ever fooled that it's my cum, but it's still hot to me to see cum in her mouth so close up. I don't see why we can't have more stuff like that throughout the rest of the video.

So, I'm curious how other people feel about this. Should producers make videos with 3rd person close ups? Assuming you're a straight guy, does being that close to another guy's cock put you off?
