I noticed when watching a 4k movie in Bigscreen, which simulates sitting in a living room with TV, then the quality is astonishing. However, watching 8k vr videos don't reach the quality. I assume it's because the 8k are spread over a large FOV.

However, this makes me wonder of we are display or CPU limited. We could have the same quality that I have in bigscreen If we could play higher resolution videos. Or why is the quality different in my two examples?

I assume this also means that pass through videos that need less FOV would be superior? What is currently the best porn Video our there resolution/quality wise?
