For over 3 years, my Oculus headset's software has hijacked my computer. If I close the software, the slightest nudge of my desk moves the HMD and restarts it. If I don't manually go start Home, loud loading music/sounds play continuously at all times, no matter what I'm doing on my computer.

Post Body

Why is the default user experience so bad with Oculus software. SteamVR stays turned off if I close it. It doesn't magically restart itself. SteamVR doesn't play some shitty music at all times.

Ironically I think this might be occurring because I am often using Unreal Engine 4 to develop VR software. I think the Oculus software gets confused somehow by my launching of HMD Preview option in UE4 editor. Ironic that this maddening, enraging bug occurs for the very developers that Oculus wants to court.

Why does Oculus software not simply boot into Oculus home on launch? (opening Home stops this behavior and stops the audio playing).

For reference I am using a CV1.

Is anyone else experiencing this?
