With all of the bad press Oculus have seen recently I feel like they must be preparing something rather big for the next time they come out with an announcement. All of their reps have been remarkably silent during the last few weeks.
I'm of the opinion that it's extremely likely that they're doing what they can to bring Vive support to their store. Anything else just doesn't make sense. Both Oculus and HTC/Valve gave really vague answers on what the big blocker for allowing Vive support on Oculus Home was.
At any rate Oculus will really need to come back in a big way the next time they take the stage. They've completely dropped the ball with the botched launch and most of the excitement regarding VR comes from the Vive camp now.
If their next move is to present Touch with new exclusives... Yeah, that's not going to be pretty.
