I stumbled upon Damien Echols' Midnight Gospel episode and felt like it resonated with me. One thing he said was that too much of one of the four elements puts a person out of balance. I've struggled with anxiety and decision making a majority of my life, so it sounded like I had too much air.
He mentioned that a remedy for the elements being out of balance was the Lesser Banishing Ritual of the Pentagram. He even has a guided LBRP on YouTube.
Last night, since I heard you should do LBRP at night, I did my first ritual. Coming from a family that views these things as evil made me feel weird at first but once it was over, I did feel quite calm.
Fast forward to today and I didn't sleep very well. I probably got 7 hours of sleep but it didn't feel like deep sleep and I'm really tired. My anxiety is kind of spiked as well.
Is this common with people new to the practice? I'm sure my first LBRP wasn't perfect. Is Damien's recommendation about using LBRP to balance your elements on point?
Last, how does LBRP differ from the invoking ritual? I heard you should do that one in the morning and LBRP at night. Thanks in advance!
