(This is my first time posting on Reddit so please bear with me) 🙏 I have always felt a connection with the spirit world but have never known where to start in terms of exploration of my abilities. I figured, since I have vivid dreams nearly every night (even when smoking weed beforehand which is supposed to limit the ability to dream) I could start there. I've been inviting deities into my dreams to speak with me for the past couple of days and nothing has appeared until last night. Due to the fact that I woke up at 5:30 and proceeded to go back to sleep afterwards my dream is a bit muddy, but to my rememberence there was a man dressed in a black dress shirt with clearly black eyes. He was standing next to and put his hands on, as if showcasing, a large dark wooden chest. The chest was closed, and I remember having the understanding and possibly conversing with this man about the chest being evil. Despite thinking the chest was evil, I was not afraid. When I woke up I was fine as well, so I decided to do some research. I came up with Osiris, as he is the Egyptian "God of the Underworld" who was locked -and died- inside of a chest by his brother that was later enveloped in a tree. Despite him being the "God of the Underworld" he seemed to have very positive notes, so my idea is the evil I was feeling was coming from the personification of set, who poured molten lead on the chest to seal Osiris in. I would love to hear any other thoughts or suggestions on this. As I am newer, I don't entirely know what I'm doing yet and would really appreciate some help. Thanks!
