I'm trying to reocrd my gameplay footage and gameplay audio and microphone audio as an MKV with two audio tracks. When I play my recordings back I either get gameplay footage with only mic audio or gameplay footage with only gameplay audio, depending on which audio track is set to 1 or 2 in Advanced Audio Properties.
When I bring that MKV into my video editor and play it, it combines both audio tracks just fine.
Do I have to bring my MKV to my editor, combine them there and then export them again? Or is there a way to set up OBS so it records with all of the audio combined but lets me have the option to remove an audio track in my editor afterwards?
EDIT: I think I found a solution. I made 3 audio tracks instead of 2. One track for both combined, one for my mic and one for desktop. Now it saves as both combined but I can seperate them in an editor! Gonna leave my post up though in case someone else gets something useful out of it :)
