Hello Oblivion-Community!

I am a big fan of Skyrim and played it many times. Now I feel like I want to dig deeper than only the newest title of the Elder Scrolls games so I bought Oblivion GOTY. I just installed it and wanted to play. I did some research before on how to set up the game the most efficient way. But I still have many visual lags.

I have the GOTY edition on Steam and installed it in my common steam directory which is C:\Program Files x86\etc.

I used the 4GB RAM patch.

I don't use any other mods except for the stutter remover.

My PC build is:

GPU: AMD Radeon RX 6600

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600x

2x 8GB RAM (total: 16GB)

Could someone please help me? I am really frustrated since I try to play the game for three days now and still cannot fix the issue...
