Watching the commentary on their 2005 tour film (I think it’s called “Lord Don’t slow me Down” it came with their live in Manchester dvd) Noel says the DBTT era was a great era for the band. Everyone was getting along, critics liked the album, the album actually was doing well in the charts, tour was good.
So what I’ve never really figured out is how did things sour so quickly if 05-06 was such a good time for them?
Anyone have evidence or at least a good theory on what exactly happened in 07-08 that soured the internal energy so much?
