Hello, Slide Away, Everything’s Electric were good.

But, I find for the a lot stuff he is really straining and can’t hit the notes.

Am I nuts?

Old live recordings too he could struggle with songs and his voice could be pretty off.

But, not nearly as much it seems.

Or is it just he has good days and bad. And struggle with live music. Because I do love his new music.

And it’s not insulting. He does some songs great live. Some people just don’t nail the live stuff as much even if they can rock out.

Tons of bands I’ve seen whose music I loved but was disappointed with them live.

Also he can still do some epic “live” stuff

Cast no shadow during the acoustic sessions is perfect

Disappointed with the unplugged one though

Maybe he needs a few takes to get it going? And he doesn’t warm up in a traditional sense.
