A week ago, with some spare time on my hands and feeling (as always) a little horny, I set out to see how many real escorts there are in Honolulu. I picked Adultlook because their verification process for escorts is lite to none.

There were 68 escorts shown. Two of these listings were for u/FromThisNight - who told me she was thoroughly confused by the advertising interface on the site and the ads kept running despite her not paying for them.

I also excluded ads for ladies, however pretty, who were in rub joints. This reduced the number of potential escorts to 37.

I contacted all of these by text. Roughly a third did not reply (and I know I’m not on the blacklist). My text was friendly and included a nice, believable selfie.

Of those who did reply more than half were clearly not in Hawaii and just wanted me to subscribe to their OF. All but a few in the remaining half wanted a deposit (gift cards being popular) despite the fact I told them I’d bring cash and could be knocking on their door in 15 minutes.

So here’s the dilemma. Do we ban these ladies (the OF ladies and scammers) from this subreddit? I say “yes,” but it will make the sub a lot skinnier.

BTW I recommend Tryst.link. It’s owned and managed by escorts in Australia. It takes a month for an escort to be approved on Tryst - and they require photos of government picture ID. All photos posted on Tryst must be verified by them against the ID as well.
