For those of you who have chatted with my wife online, I wanted to bring you some news. She learned this morning that her account --Â Â -- has been banned permanently because she has been accused of posting explicit photos of other people without their consent. As you can imagine, this came as a complete surprise. Her Ladyship is a published author, and I am a (retired) pro photographer. We also worked for a law firm for nine years. We know model releases, intellectual property rights, and copyright. All the images she's posted in her 27 days on Reddit have been photos of her, taken by me.
Naturally, she appealed the decision, but who knows how long it takes Reddit to decide. But perhaps this is a blessing. It's prompted her to activate her little-used X account, and to take the steps to open an Only Fans account. (It takes OF 48 hours to complete the verification process.) From what she's seen, she doesn't need to charge anything at OF -- it's never been her intention to monetize this. She's having fun and just wanted people to be aware of her book.
So if you're looking for her, in the meantime, she's on X with the same user name -- FromThisNight Please follow and message her there. The six Redditors she's met in real life so far will, I'm sure, confirm that this photo is actually of her!
