Advice for fence plantings

Does anyone have any sage advice as to how to break up the fence (on the left of the table photo). Wondering about building a raised bed (not for veges) or clumping bamboo, maybe a few bay trees as a topiary or even a not so formed mulched bed? Ideas appreciated. Looking to get it done in the next few weeks
