Setting up a business/trust??

Hi, I have two side hustles that are about to kick off and want to get on top of the legal side, I was thinking having one parent company to the two was the best way to do it, is it? Am struggling to wrap my head around what I need to set up in terms of NZBNs, like would it be a trust ?
