I was on vacation and felt like I should and could read a book. I kept reading the 40 page samples available on Apple Books or whatever it’s called and nothing caught my interest. Out of desperation I started On All Fours because it, uh, sounded sexual. And it was, so it kept my interest. I’m not a bisexual menopausal woman, but I felt connected to the character quite a bit. There’s a lot of sex in the book which I enjoyed reading. It was well written and interesting to learn someone else magical thinks and romanticizes everything. Since I finished it, one phrase keeps sticking in my head, “ungendered and unashamed.” That seems to beautiful to me. I don’t know why exactly.
Anyway, I am around the same age as the character, at the end of the book. I’m married. Like the characters in the book we sleep in separate bedrooms, although we haven’t had sex in about 12 years and will eventually divorce.
In the meantime, I want to be sexual. To be blunt. Weirdly, wildly, freely sexual. With a woman. I’m not totally opposed to a bisexual experience, but I ain’t there yet, fellasnn
I’m 5’11. Not bad looking. Not in any kind of great shape. But not morbidly obese. My hair is my finest attribute. Im polite, kindhearted and occasionally humorous.
If nothing else, maybe we can talk about the book.
I can pretty much only hang out in Manhattan.
