So a couple of weeks ago, I ventured over to the Housing Works bookstore and cafe on Crosby Street for the first time and loved it! I made a post about it here but because it was last minute and at a weird time, no one came. There was a bunch of interest, though, so I figured I'd do it again, this time with more notice!
As the title says, I'm going to get there at 5 pm and stay until 8 pm when they close. There are used books and media, clothes and home goods for sale, and the cafe has some great drinks (including some of the alcoholic persuasion if you like those - I'm definitely interested in trying out their happy hour which coincidentally also goes from 5-8 pm).
Come and browse/hang with me! i've been in the city since last September and I'm still looking for friends. I'm a woman in my early 30s who works in the arts, enjoys trying new bars and restaurants, and loves to read and thrift.
I'll start a group chat once I get a few replies!
