Hey Everyone!
Currently work in investment banking in the city and am not sure I want to be doing this in the long-term. Always really liked finance but since moving to NYC, I've discovered passions / interests (clubs, sports, music / going out in Brooklyn, other hobbies, etc.) that can not be accommodated with my current lifestyle. I love learning new things in relatively fast-paced environment but absolutely hate working weekends.
Another issue is I want to work in my a more diverse environment with other gay people. My firm is pretty stuffy, but I would love to be friends with co-workers and talk about our personal lives. Anyone know any interesting strategy gigs / firms that might be closer to the mark? I thought about consulting but feels less tangible to me (I love deals), and seems to have a lot of travel!
Would appreciate any insight!
