Hi there! As the title states I'll be visiting for a week. Looking to see what's out there. I come from a small town with not much of a gay scene so this will be a quite the experience for me.

I'm thinking of going to some bars, preferably more casual and low-key vibes. I heard plenty of recommendations for Stonewall so I'm looking at that. I'm mainly asking for more casual settings due to the fact I get overwhelmed and anxious fairly easily so a welcoming and comfortable environment will help me relax.

I hear there's quite a bit of sex parties that go on. I've never been to one so I'd like to go to one to at least see what it's like. But I fear my looks make me a bit more apprehensive to go to those. I'm an average mid 20s male with a bit of a belly going on and I tend to go for older, dad bod types.

Also this will be the first time I'm in a huge major city by myself so there's a bit of worry there. I would definitely not say no to some welcoming company to accompany me to some of these said places or to just show me around.
