Anyone with experience with Big Apple Rec Sports Dodgeball or Kickball Leagues?

Hey everyone, I recently moved back to NYC and am looking to make new friends and build a social circle. I’ve narrowed it down to two options: the Tuesday Dodgeball League and the Saturday Kickball League.
Now, here’s the thing:
- Dodgeball is indoors, so it might be easier to get to avoid ... you know, winter. 😉
- Kickball will be outdoors, meaning January through March is going to be rough with the cold.
That said, I wonder if the social vibe and bigger turnout will make the Saturday league a better way to meet people. Do you think that’s likely? It's winter so but sure if the turnout will be good.
Would love to hear your experiences or advice on how to make the most of these leagues. Thanks in advance! 🙌
