I've been to parties (HMD, Wrecked, even sex ones like GBU, or bars like Hush etc) and go to a gay gym, and see some hot guys in these places, but almost never seen them on any app. I also don't really see the same people in these places through the year so I assume some are flying in for the event only.

I am specifically wondering about the actual singles. I've spoken to a number of dudes who write single on their profile but actually are 'coming out of a relationship', 'deciding' or 'married but just to help their friend' etc and I'm so tired of this BS.

I've usually used Grindr and I would say maybe 30% of the guys offline are on there.

I moved to Scruff and barely woof anyone because most of the guys seem much older or out of shape or taken (and even the ones paired off are not the ones I see at parties) or miles away. I would say the overlap is 10%.

I thought I was maybe getting depressed or going blind. I searched Madrid on Scruff, and was woofing almost every other guy (single) who was genuinely hot.

I'm wondering if there is some secret app where the hot guys accumulate? Or perhaps the don't use apps at all and stick to in person events? Have the hot ones migrated and only come to the events?

Very curious about this as I met a non-toxic guy via Grindr, who happened to download it on the day I did, and we both deleted it, and he is not on apps otherwise and claimed he hasn't hooked up with anyone except me this year. And he is hot.
