Finishing up school soon and currently have two offers.

Company A: offering $89K per year after negotiating. I have interned with this company multiple summers and absolutely loved my time with them. I love the people, the work culture. I’ve met some of the kindest, most supportive mentors at this company. The average work hours for my level at this company is about 50 hrs per week.

Company B: offering $105K per year after negotiating. I’ve never interned or worked at this company. But people I know who have worked there say it’s not toxic but they didn’t feel well supported. More rigorous work and higher expectations with very little mentorship. Average work hours for my level at this company is about 65 hrs per week.

Both companies have very similar benefits and PTO package.

For those of you, well into your career what advice would you give someone like me starting out. I have a lot of debt (90K in student loans and 10K in private credit card debt). If you were me, would you take the job at the company you absolutely love and know you belong there but they pay less, or the company that will have you overworked, with little to no support or mentorship, but pays more. I am very conflicted.
