So I moved to New York for college. I'm originally from a country in southeastern Europe. Every fucking date I go on either ends up in getting ghosted or doesn't go anywhere cause the other guy just wants to hookup. I'm done like in general, ppl here don't seem to have social cues or communicate anything. It's like a date can go so well and they swear they so into you and then boom, they randomly ghost you. Tf is up with that. I thought dating in my country was bad since it's a pretty homophobic country and it's very limited, but here it's like there are plenty options, however, none of em leads anywhere. I deleted all dating apps and honestly, I dread ever getting to go out w any guy here cause they on some immature shit. Idk if its my fate or smth.

All I rlly want is just to get to know someone normally, not hookup immediately. Everyone here so confusing, I'm over it. Can someone just share their experience or smth idk? I dont think I even want advice Im just so hopeless
