I had dinner with a friend, after dinner I met up with a guy at his place. Everything was fine until halfway through the hook up I could tell he wasn’t into it anymore and I respectfully got dressed and left. I got a couple blocks away and realized I left my AirPods at his place accidentally. I figure I will message him and get them back. I find out he has blocked me. I can see on the ‘Find My’ app that they are indeed at his place. I go back and ring his bell since he blocked me for some unknown childish reason. He ignored the ring multiple times, then he started deading the ring. So I call 311 as I also dial his neighbor (there was a listing of apt #s). Finally one lets me in, I knock on his door and things go very south. He lets me in, berates me for ringing his neighbors (keep in mind I am still on the phone with 311 and they are asking if I want cops to be sent over). I enter his apt. (Stupidly), asking for my AirPods and he knew exactly where they were (not like one under the bed one under the couch kinda thing). He gives them (reluctantly) back to me and then HIT me TWICE. I have lost all faith all faith in this community and legitimately don’t feel safe within my own “community”. I’m beyond shaken. Do better people for fucks sake.
