I know this has definitely been posted here before but I just wanted to kind of get this off my chest . I feel so inadequate to so many of the gay people I know who work in tech,finance,law that are making very good money . I can’t lie , I would love to go on vacation whenever I want (I’ve never even been outside of America !), have a nice loft apartment to myself , buy nice clothes and WFH . But I also know that if I was actually doing any of those jobs I’d wanna kill myself . If anyone has any advice for coming to terms with your financial situation as a gay I’d love to hear it . I don’t live beyond my means , I’m fairly smart about my money but I also really would like to have a lot more money in life to feel financially stable so I’ve considered pivoting careers yet I love the performing arts so I feel extremely conflicted atm .
