So, for context I haven’t used the apps super regularly until the last two or three months. I used them briefly in 2021 but very briefly. Otherwise, I basically stayed off of them for 5 years. After using them consistently and often for 2 or 3 months my first observation is…if you don’t take prep, you ain’t getting laid. Usually. Which normally would not be an issue. I have bottles of descovy in my closet but due to a health issue that won’t resolve until at least next year, I can’t take them. There have been at least 6 times I met good looking guys who shot me down because I did not want to bareback/take prep. And yes, I know there’s 2 1 1 (I have truvada as well) but they were not willing to wait. Is it fair to say this is a common thing now to expect every guy to be on prep and willing to bareback or is it just my experience? Also, Grindr is just buggy as hell now. Just an awful interface. Never used to be like that. Scruff is where it is at.
