Hi! I m a 23-year-old gay south asian man and moved to nyc a few months back. i have been looking to date someone but that has been so hard. everyone just wants sex and even for that people are so picky. people that i have matched with on dating apps hardly ever reply and just dont seem interested in meeting in person and having a meaningful conversation. so i dont know what to do. i just find it so hard to go by myself to bars and approach people and even then i think people there just want sex. i really want a meaningful, emotional, and spiritual connection that goes beyond sex/ surface-level attraction. does anyone have any tips? and pls feel free to message me privately too if you wanna meet in person for a possible date.
