I'm visiting NYC June 1st-14th. Looking to meet, make some friends. Check out some parties, but most importantly try to find a roommate while there. I'm hoping to (finally) make the move there sometime this summer maybe August or September.

I'm also looking to check out some neat gay bars/parties/events while in town. Anyone wanting to explore the city together or give a tour?

Roommate hunting: Open to living just about anywhere, I've only explored Harlem, hells kitchen, and Astoria Queens. I'm leaning more towards living in Queens and Brooklyn but again, I'm open.

Apartment budget: the cheaper the better 😂 but I know it's NYC. I've seen some places offer a room for 1K a month. That's my target, I'm paying $1500 right now and would like to shed some weight.

More about me: I work from home as a support engineer. I have a small dog, if pets aren't allowed, it's fine as he'll stay with my mom. The apartment would need to be somewhat short-term as I am a snowbird for now. I'm very quiet, keep to myself in most cases. I'm both clean (wiping down, pickup after myself, disinfect bathroom, kitchen) and messy (my clothes tend to end up as landmines in my room.)
