With all the sex darkrooms, dark bars, sex parties, etc, available in NYC and some other cities worldwide.... do most gay males in the NYC area seriously notice or check a partner's fingernails (or even toenails once in bed)?

We probably say that if course we do, that fingernails, especially done professionally, are important in a competitive place like NYC.

Sure, the "ladies who lunch" must look well, professional guys and gals in retail, sales and offices should or must keep up appearances....But what about gay Joe Blow in the darkness of bars, baths, cruising trails, sex parties?

Isn't it almost impossible to notice in an often dark environment? One may not notice until under bright lights at home, at a restaurant or just walking down the street with one's newest find. Then it's too late to easily reject someone, perhaps? , I had a pedicure years ago but never went back. I don't bite my nails; in fact, I keep fingernail clippers in my backpack! Yet I still always seem to have a need to bite otf a miniscule of skin around a nail or twl at times. Disgusting! But some guys regularly bite their actual nails as adults. Instant turn off, right, once you have a chance to notice under good lighting?

Do most of you get manicures and/or pedicures? Your friends? How often should it be?

And what is the price range in the NYC area? Plus tip, of course..

Is it usually always females? But I imagine some gays are employed along with mainly females in some salons?
