thoughts on bus b.s.
Yesterday I was waiting for a bus at the stop on a route that also has limited bus service, and the stop I was at was not a limited stop.
The bus pulls up directly in front of me and lets a MTA employee out. at first, I didn't realize it was a limited bus and I began to step into the bus after the MTA employee got off and the driver immediately closed the bus doors in my face.
Of course a few muffled exchanges of pleasantries were exchanged through the door and he drove off...
Of course the employee who got off the limited bus and myself also exchanged pleasantries as he defended the bus driver for allowing him to get off wherever the hell he damn well pleased and then closing the doors in my face explaining to me the obvious MTA rules and regulations pertaining to local and limited bus service.
I told him fuck off and walked to the next stop.
Do you think this behavior is appropriate, for either of us I guess? This kind of little nitpicky cunty bullshit drives me so unbelievably crazy I don't even know how to properly process this kind of stuff anymore..
Any thoughts?
