Backstory from Renee Herzog on Manhattan Before 1990 on Facebook:
My father's deli on Tremont Avenue in The Bronx around 1951 or 1952. My Mom is holding my hand. Next to her is her cousin (so my 2nd cousin?) Kurt. On other side are Kurt's parents (my Mom's aunt & uncle). In window is my father's step-mother, Grandma Anna. My Grandpa came over around 1900. Except for my Mom's brother, 1 other aunt and 1 uncle, that's all from my Mother's side that made it out from Europe. Her parents & other relatives never made it out.
