I can NOT lay an Ethernet Cable from my router to my Shield and/or my PC. I want to stream via Sunshine/Moonlight and doing so via Wifi is not working without horrendous lags for some reason. I was able to get streaming to work flawlessly by connecting an Ethernet cable from my PC to my Shield TV (this is important) DISCONNECTING my ShieldTV from Wifi. I, again, can not connect any of my devices to my router via Ethernet, so I need both of them to be able to use Wifi.
Whenever I connect the ShieldTV to my Wifi, it disconnects from the Ethernet connection altogether. In the settings, it goes from "connected" to "not connected", but still shows the connection and speed. So it simply disconnects, but doesn't LOSE its connection.
How can I fix this? I want my Shield to only use LAN for local stuff and use WLAN for internet. I really couldn't find any answers on my own and would really appreciate any help! I hope the Shield is able to do this. I found another workaround to be that I use a spare router to create a "new" Network for the Shield and the PC. This worked without lags, too, but I dislike the clutter and also want to save energy by not having to power another router just for this.
