Hey guys, in running a 3440x1440 100hz monitor so the idea of downscaling to a lower resolution and sharpening to reduce GPU load sounds pretty great to me. I see people mentioning downscaling to x0.7 times native resolution or 70% or whatever. However, I can't seem to find how to do this anywhere I look. Is there some Nvidia tool in GeForce experience that allows you to downscale, and then you just turn on freestyle sharpening? Or do you just turn down the resolution in the standard game settings and sharpen from there? In this case however, I don't understand how people are downscaling to a certain percentage of native resolution instead of a fixed standard resolution. Can any of you give me any insight?
