What is the hardest game/type combination for a monotype run?
Post Body

The brief discussion on the use of ditto in USUM in a precious thread has inspired me to attempt to complete a normal monotype hardcore nuzlocke of each region (including Orre, which I expect to not be possible). While doing some research on that Hoenn looked to be much harder than I'd expected, as the encounter variety early is somewhat limited and you have to clear a gauntlet of tough gym leaders (Wattson, Flannery, and Norman) to reach the midgame reinforcements, meaning that gyms I'd otherwise sack mons to like Roxanne and Wattson may need to be done deathless, which I'm predicting to be tedious at best (the only nonresisted move I will have for Roxanne is Whismur's astonish).

What other combinations of type and game are particularly difficult to clear (other than DP monofire, that one is pretty infamous)?
