I recently got into a fairly heated argument with two roommates telling me my diet is bad due to the amount of sugar I have, which is mostly in my coffee/tea. I see myself as having a healthy lifestyle, but I moved out of my parents house for school this past year, so what I'm comparing my current diet to is to what my family eats back home.
I just want a non-biased, objective look at the general stuff I eat.
In order of frequency of meals:
Coffee or Tea (I have about 2 cups a day of coffee. 1 tablespoon of honey per cup)
2 Eggs 1 cup of steamed veggies (frozen mix) 2 strips of bacon 1 tablespoon or sriracha sauce.
Butter chicken/Some type of curry with chicken on white rice with steamed veggies (frozen mix veggies. I do use a decent amount of sauce as I like it saucy).
Ramen (I split this into two meals: Instant noodles with half the packet of flavouring, add a small amount of butter chicken, poached egg, frozen veggies).
KD: Lazy meal I have once every two weeks. Pack of kraft dinner, use half of the cheese in the pack and use some of my own cheese instead. If I have leftover chicken I throw that in. Always add a fair amount of frozen veggies to it, about 1 cup.
I just want someone to tell me if the amount of sugar is way to high, or the amount of cholesterol from my daily eggs bacon is way to high. I haven't had pop since I moved out about 6 months ago, nor chips or any 'junk' food. In my eyes, the least healthy thing in my diet is the KD lazy meal I have once every couple of week. However, the coffee and egg bacon is what I'm getting heck for.
As far as proportion goes, when I counted the calories I am at about 2100~ a day consistently, so I would say the proportions are about standard.
