As Health care Professionals we come across amazing patients and then the hospital Karens, a.k.a. the Primadonnas.
I have dealt with a few, but none as bad ass this.
My hospital is short staffed, so the nurse;patient ratio is 1;7, a lot of patients are understanding of this and lower their expectations of having a lot of attention from staff unless they press the call light.
Not this lady, nope, she was admited for an overnight observation and will be discharged in the morning. But she expects frequent roundings, even when she was told the nurse (me) had seven patients and four of those require cobstant rounds and attention due to surgery or pain management.
I tried pleasing her, but now I left it on my charge nurse's hands since the patient refuses to have me now.
