Male nurses, do you have ‘non-acceptable’ facial hair?
Post Body

I had to shave for the first time in 9yrs for my fit test today and made the bears into a goatee, which I’m not the biggest fan of. If I’m clean shaven I get baby face and look 10yrs younger which I’m not a fan of. All during nursing school it was never a problem, I always kept it less than 1/4 inch so n95s wouldn’t be a problem and always passed my fit tests then. I saw plenty of males with very bushy beards in the hospital who couldn’t even wear a normal mask properly

Would I be able to get away with growing my beard back out before I start in a few weeks?
