HIV+ patient spit in my eye

Post Body
Hey everybody. I’m not a nurse. I work in a behavioral health facility in the intake department. Today while responding to a psychiatric code, the patient we attempted to restrain spit on me and another MH tech. A small amount of it got into my eye and I ran to the restroom to wash my eyes with hand soap and water. I didn’t care how much it burned, but I managed to rinse my eyes out a couple of minutes after it. I’m a little worried because the patient is HIV .
What should I do?
