Any tips for a student starting practicum on a transplant floor in a few weeks?
Post Body

Hey all, almost done with my fourth semester in my ABSN program and we got an early glance at our practicum assignments. It may still change, but there's a 95% chance I'll be on the transplant unit at our hospital and I'm pretty pumped about it. I was wondering if there was anything any of you would recommend I review to prepare for my practicum on this unit? Figured I'd go over specialty meds (eg tacrolimus), but I wasn't sure if there were some other subjects I should glance at before starting.

Thanks!!
