I turned in my resignation letter yesterday after barely two months at this job and they're blowing up my phone.

I transfered to a new job within the same hospital group that started mid October. Because it was a transfer, I have fulfilled my commitment to the hospital group of 2 years already. I did not sign a new commitment contract because it's the same hospital group.

When I started this job, it was just a stepping stone for me. It was to just have something lined up to have once I got to this new state. (I was moving from Georgia to Texas.) In a very short amount of time, I already knew I was going to be unhappy at this job and started applying around. To my surprise, I received a job offer working from home with an insurance company that was not only better pay, but better benefits and no nights, weekends, nor holidays. I accepted the job the Tuesday after Thanksgiving.

I emailed my resignation letter last night to everyone that needed to see it, including HR, and sent a copy to myself. It's my official two week notice with an end date in writing. I didn't say anything to anyone because I was nervous about the direct backlash because I can understand the frustration that I haven't even been at my new job for two months and I'm already leaving, but I also feel that it's not my problem.

Today, my unit manager is blowing up my phone with calls and texts and I'm nervous to talk to her. I think it's just the guilt playing with my emotions.

Honestly, I just want to continue working until my end date and just leave quietly without all this drama. I feel like I don't owe them any sort of explanation about anything.

What would you do?

Edit: We talked via text. She was taking it very personally that I was leaving in a "what can I do better for the next person" kind of way. I touched on some things but explained me leaving was not because of her, but I found a better job to support myself and family.
